I love travelling, learning about different cultures and interacting with people around the world. Exploring the globe is truly a phenomenal experience. Being in my early 20’s, I feel as though now is the perfect time to boost my travelling game.
From time to time I get the sudden urge to escape from London. Thankfully Paris is always a fantastic idea and is incredibly close. This year would make this trip my fourth visit to France, yet each trip feels brand new.
A friend of mine had a birthday recently, which was fast approaching. As we were in the need for a quick get away, we felt Paris was the best place to head to.
We arrived late afternoon, thursday 9th July and settled into our hotel 10/15 minutes walking distance from the eiffel tower. I've always wanted to stay in a monochrome themed hotel and was pleased when I came across 'First hotel' while booking our trip. I loved it's chic boutqiue apartment style and the fact that it was close to everything we needed.
Although we had a planned itinerary at hand for our first day, we ended up having quite a chilled afternoon and evening.
We headed out for a lebanese dinner around the block and spent the rest of our night at the Eiffel tower and walking around the city taking in the scenery.
Here i’m wearing a cream blouse, paired with mustard yellow shorts and gladiators. Lately i’ve been a little obsessed with soft toned, earthy colours and loved the way I felt in this fit.
Having thought i’d be doing quite a bit of walking during my first day in Paris I opted for an outfit that was comfortable and summer ready.
Towards the end of our evening, we discovered an outside event under the nose of the eiffel tower. Despite it being 2am, we couldn’t resist heading to the bar, sitting by the river chatting over a glass of wine, while listening to the vibes of the partygoers.
