CHÂTEAU DE VERSAILLES - PARIS DAY 2

7 August 2015

I’ve never taken a solid interest in having a bucket list, until I became incredibly determined not to leave Paris without visiting the palace of Versailles and just like that the motive for my second day in Paris was born.

The weather was on my side 110% so I opted for a knitted dress, that was comfortable for me to be a tourist in and screamed summer. I’m usually a sucker for a incredibly simple and plain dresses, but the cut, stripes and choice of colours really won me over with this one.
This dress felt perfect for me in every way. I loved the fact that it hug my body in the right places but wasn’t bodycon tight. The under arm cut is lower than usual and although a bold decision, i’m far from guilty of its purchase.

Embracing the art that is side boob, was a daring move to make, but a confident, free-floating one, which allowed me to glide through the day with ease.

I completed this look with a simple vintage passport holder, which belonged to my gran. Having been hers, it brought a flow of her precious memories and made my experience at Versailles extra special.

With all the above said, hoping to persuade you on taking a trip to Versailles, here’s some more photos below from my day at the palace with a close friend of mine (Kim.S). x
