BIKER BAD

16 March 2015

The one and only statement wardrobe piece....the biker

I’ve had a fair amount of Biker jackets, but for once I wanted to invest in an all black, real leather biker. I wanted a jacket of good quality, (smooth like a baby's bottom but looks like it means business) which would last me for years & this ‘Papin Leather biker’ had been on my mind for quite a while.

The detail on this jacket is particularly special. Crafted from Lambskin, fitted and with sleeves cut above the wrists, it allows any undergarment to be shown while worn with the jacket. This item is quilted at the top of the sleeves and elbow patch area, with buckle strap detail and press studs. What I like most about this jacket are the nickel zips and padding. It’s the little details as such which changes your average biker into something special. I basically live in it since I bought it mid February and will continue to use the hell out of it during this years spring, autumn and winter.

I can assure you this jacket is definitely worth every penny and has become my favourite leather jacket.

When it comes to what size to purchase when buying a real leather jacket as such, it's best to either go with your exact size or a size below. In my case my aunt came along with me to have a look at the fit before I purchased it and we both came to the agreement of buying a size down from what I am. Thankfully I did, knowing that eventually the leather gives way a little and should fit snug to your body with its seams fitting perfectly along the shoulders.
