Hi all, thought i’d share this years Halloween costume with you. I was in my absolute element wearing this last saturday night!

I’m not one to celebrate halloween, quite frankly I’ve never been entirely sure as to what it means to celebrate it...

I’ve never dived into the history of the festival, neither fancied having a political or religious conversation about it and certainly don’t wish to start now. Regardless, i’m just here for the fun of it all really. Who doesn’t love dressing up with your friends. 

Any chance to be a big kid & I’m there! 

It’s no secret that adults enjoy halloween more than the kids do.

If you’ve seen my trip to China post here, you’ll already know I have a great interest in the culture centred around Asia. 

As a kid I’d watch Chinese and Japanese kung fu films with my Dad, some of which had Ninja’s in, you know the ones where the voice over is 3 seconds late from the expressions made by the actors? Yeah, those lol 

Cut a long story short i’ve always had a fantasy of being a Ninja and this year I finally got to be one! It was fun, unique, definitely not something you see every day and took me one step closer to visiting Japan one day.

I liked the way they mysteriously move through the night in films, are seen as masters of super human combat skills (flying across buildings and fly kicking opponents), show great control of the mind and of course their outfits, let’s not forget the outfits!
