The Puffer - a 90s classic, a dime between athleisure and streetwear
London Fashion Week has sprung upon us again and there’s a lot to look out for. Some of the best ideas for your winter looks can be formed from the inspiration of the streets of London during this time of year.
As for me, as soon as the temperature dropped this month I grabbed a 90s classic - the puffer jacket.
As usual the weather here in the UK is going through a series of trial an error as we transition through three seasons that is end of summer, autumn into winter. While my trench coat would usually hold a significant amount of street relevance at this time, my Bershka puffer has made an entrance rather early.
While puffer jackets have never been my thing, due to thriving in representing absolutely anybody as an igloo, runway looks have changed the game through resurrection. It’s the perfect example of fusing together high and low end fashion with the inclusion of streetwear and athleisure styles.
Now my favourite street style outwear, it allows me to feel incredibly warm and fashionable at the same time.
In all its glory, weight & aggression this coat solves issues and saves lives. Pairing it with Clara Martin’s menswear slogan tee and adidas joggers, I feel oh so swaggy.
