Ok. Spring has arrived people. Sun in London is finally beginning to peak through as slowly as ever, but whatever, we’ll take it. As usual the weather here has a mind of it’s own and once again we’re thrown into the difficulties of transitioning from winter to spring.
Spring may just be my second favourite season of the year, after winter, yet I can not pretend that I don’t struggle back and forth with trying to figure out what to wear during this season, where the rain, wind and sun can’t decide who wants to show up to the party.
However *drum roll pleaseeeee*...
I took a quick trip down to Oxford street a couple of weeks ago, popped into Zara only to stumble across the bomber jacket I had been waiting for. While this particular style of outwear isn’t really my thing, I couldn’t resist this one. Plus it was only 29.99! Not bad huh?
What I loved about this bomber was how light and comfortable it was. The absolute perfect piece to help you transition from winter to spring for those days that aren’t too cold or too hot and you’re stuck with what to wear to make it through those sunny days, slightly colder mornings and evenings.
It’s become a well known fact that the trick to transitioning between seasons is the art of layering, yet I can’t help but feel that sometimes all you need is the right accessories and Bob’s your uncle.
While in Sweden last month (Swedish files) I picked up this ‘Canada light grey melange’ Acne Studios scarf and I can vouch that it has served me well since, now ranking in my top 5 foundation pieces.
Both the light bomber and Acne scarf paired together have become my go-to outfit pieces recently.
With that said...enjoy the sun and have fun experimenting with pieces in spring.
Until next time folks..xx
