The MOM Jean & the 80s
While I salute the era of the 90‘s, because well, I’m a 90's baby, I’ve got to give it to the 80’s for introducing the MOM Jean.
I found this pair in River Island about 4 years ago and I haven’t looked back or found anything else quite like it. A great pair of MOM jeans can easily get you through this season, with whatever budget you may have...better yet, just ask your mum for a pair from her teen days.
It looks as though the 80's are taking over AW17 and I’m here for it. I took to the skating rink of Somerset House recently in this get up, pairing it with my new favourite belt to give my fit the extra kick at the year 1984.
I love pairing them with a pair of chunky boots or your everyday converses - give it a try :)
