A TASTE FOR SAFARI

Ok all of my adventurous travellers, out for the thrill of it type of people, where are ya? Tune in now, because I’ve got the hook up.  

Three words. Algarve Jeep Safari! 

I’ve always wanted to go on a Safari, having been interested in being surrounded by a number of different animals & the idea of exploring wild life. 

Here’s the thing, guess who was incredibly disappointed to find out that there were no blooming animals included on this trip? 

Anyway, I went along with it, as I was in Portugal, it was scorching hot, everything was great & I refused to let this news change my mind from going. 

To cut a long story short, I had the best time ever! The entire experience was exciting, thrilling & a tad bit dangerous. 

Thankfully, I had one of the best tour guides I’ve had in years, who was incredibly funny and entertaining, showing us what other than the tourist locations Algarve had to offer.

The jeep tour began at about 6 - 10pm. My family and I arrived in the deep jungle of Albufeira Hills, where we travelled at fairly high speeds through the mountains, streams and villages within the region.

We stopped off at various locations where we were introduced to some Portuguese culture, wonders around the villages and fabulous picturesque spots. 

I would highly recommend taking this trip on board if you have any plans to visit Portugal. It’s magical being introduced to parts of Portugal that you would highly unlikely come across yourself. 

We live in a world where the slow pace and older ways of living life is disappearing fast. This trip gives you the opportunity to experience life in a different way, taking you back before the 21st Century, exploring the area, old traditions, the locals interests and everyday activities. I’m in like of some of the older traditions of living life and so this trip managed to offer both the older lifestyle and the modern day buzz of today at the same time. 

I can’t quiet explain how fantastic the safari experience was and can only hope that if any of you get the chance to visit Algarve, you book the Jeep Safari and live your LIFE!
